MIxed Fortunes for Basketball teams against near neighbours!

Last Friday the 4th of October Sacred Hearts u16 Basketball team took on Colaiste na Toirbhite. A great performance from everyone but Siofra Patwell and Katie o Driscoll shone on the day. The game was very evenly matched but in the end Colaiste na Tabhaiththe came out on top with the final result being 34- 26.

Following the u16 game, the u19s took to the court. Starting off with some great scores from Brid Collins.SHSS seemed in trouble at the end of the first half but an amazing comeback in the second half resulted in a victorious Clonakilty side. There was some great scores from Sinead Mc Carthy and Katie O'Driscoll. The final score was 23-20 to Clonakilty. Overall an outstanding performance from all teams.
