5th Year Retreat- Just as water reflects the face, so one human heart reflects another - Proverbs

The 5th year students enjoyed their day of reflection connecting with nature in our local area.

The day enabled students to reconnect with nature, tap into spirituality of the landscape and reconnect with themselves and each other.

The theme of the day was Just as water reflects the face, so one human heart reflects another. (Proverbs 27:19)

We set off from Timoleague Abbey, stopped off in Courtmacsheery for our morning break and then continued along the Fuchsia Walk. The students were led in prayer and reflection by their RE teachers Ms Harte,Ms Mangan and Ms Harrington around the Mass rock near Broad strand. The experiences & reflection throughout the day allowed students to recognise that self reflection is not only about the self but can also help them see their place and part in the world they live in.
