Senior Camogie Team advance to County Semi-Final

On Monday the 14th, Sacred Heart’s Senior Camogie team took on Colaiste Choilm in the county quarter final. Our girls, coached by Mr.Mulcahy, were victorious with the final score being 4.13 to 2.6. The game was played in Ahamilla which resulted in a few of our own supporters coming to watch. The ground was mucky and tough to play in but that didn’t hinder Sacred Heart’s performance. The main scores came from Katelyn Dineen(goal), Eimear O’Brien(two goals), Maeve Kingston(goal), Daire O’Brien and Anna Flynn. The full backline was solid throughout the match with Grace Tobin, Emma O’Driscoll and Annie Condon. Near the end of the match subs Roisin Buckley, Mary Murphy and Roisin McCarthy all came on for a run. The girls are all very happy with their performance and are anxiously awaiting the semi-final.
