Junior Football

The junior footballers season came to an end as they put in a brave effort in their Cork championship knockout game away to a strong Glanmire CC side on Wednesday. The girls led for long periods of the game through goals from Lydia Sutton and Kiya O'Mahony in the first half. In a very tight and end to end game Glanmire edged the game on a scoreline of 3-10 to 4-4. Stand out performers were our two youngest players on the team Meave Kingston 1-0 and Lydia Sutton 1-1, with TY's Claire Kingston and Ciara Deasy also. We thank the girls for their effort and commitment throughout the year and thank their coaches Mr.Kiely and Mr.Bradle
