As students and staff prepare for the Christmas this year, the Pope John Paul II Awards Committee, are hosting Make A Difference Week (MAD Week) under the guidance of Ms. Mangan. From  Monday 10th to Friday 14th December the committee will host a number of events in Sacred Heart to get us to reflect on our preparation for Christmas. The focus of MAD week is to encourage us to take time to focus on how we can make a difference in the lives of our friend and family.

Monday : First Years will make posters with their thoughts on kindness. The posters will be  displayed on the bridge. During lunch time the movie "Angela's Christmas" will be shown in the GPR to all First Years.

Tuesday:  Free hot chocolate to all in the GPR for those who wish to come and chat for the duration of lunch break.

Wednesday:  Distribution of kindness quotations

Thursday :First Year fun in the GPR

An Advent Prayer Tree will be set up in the Prayer Room where students can visit and hang hearts with the name of a person they wish to pray .

The intercom will be used to provide daily reminders and to play reflective Christmas songs.

Looking forward to a busy week.
