Michael Collins House visit by Applied Leaving Cert Students.

On the 15th of November as part of their English and Communications program the ALC studnets went for a guided tour of Michael Collins House, in Emmet Square, Clonakilty. The tour was very informative and all the students enjoyed their time learning more about Michael Collins. The main highlight of the visit was the drawing room, where there was a model of Clonakilty at the time Michael was growing up. There were buttons you could press to show the various buildings such as where Michael lived in Clonakilty and paths Michael took to school . Leaving Certificate Applied students found it to be a fun and educational trip to the Michael Collins House.
