6th Year Irish Trip to Everyman Theatre

On Thursday September 28th 2017, Sixth Year higher level Irish students went to The Everyman Theatre in Cork to see ‘’An Triail’’

‘’An Triail’’ is the play studied by leaving certificate students in their leaving certificate Irish course. ‘’An Triail’’ is set in Ireland during the 1960’s and shows the hardship faced by people as well as social and personal problems during this time in Ireland. The play ran for around one hour and left students ‘’on edge’’, ‘’saddened’’ and ‘’delighted to have gotten to see the play live.’’ The teachers who accompanied around seventy students were Ms. Meade, Ms Holland and Mr O' Connell.

Overall the play was thoroughly enjoyed by the students and teachers and was seen as a success.
