TY Graduation Evening

A magnificent showcase of Transition Year was on display in the School's GPR on Wednesday 25-05-16. Niamh Hayes and Maya Maciejewska were the masters of the ceremony. the evening was divided in to chapters, each one focusing on a theme. There were presentations from Community Awareness, Law Day, Junk Kouture, Sport, BT Young Scientist, Scifest and many more. Ms. O' Regan's German class performed their German play while the TY choir under the guidance of Ms. Whyte entertained the audience with some fantastic numbers. Kate Burke received the Frank Toner award from guest speaker Aifric McGlinchy. Picture Perfect picked up best mini company and best folder of achievements went to Niamh Whelton, Hillary Paulino, Clodagh Walsh and Paulina Oramus.
