EUROPEAN YOUTH PARLIAMENT

Our Mission
The European Youth Parliament (EYP) Ireland is a non-profit, non-partisan organisation that runs a number of weekend long conferences every year for young people. EYP Ireland is one of 36 national committees of the European Youth Parliament International, the European umbrella organization of our organisation.

It is our mission in EYP Ireland to develop an interest in European issues in young people in Ireland. We seek to empower the youth to question the world around them and come up with innovative solutions to global problems, while emphasising concepts of cooperation and respect. It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us in this mission, and let the voices of our young people be heard.

Company Overview
EYP Ireland has been in existence for over 20 years. Since our foundation we have organised dozens of weekend-long sessions for secondary school students across Ireland, promoting awareness of European issues among young people. Through Team-Building, Committee Work and open debate and discussion in General Assembly our participants have fun while engaging with major European & global matters.

Description
European Youth Parliament Ireland also organises other activities within the EYP framework, often including one-off EYP events, with the aim of reaching out to the widest possible range of students and teachers and indeed other members of the community of Europe.

All those involved in the National Committee of EYP Ireland, do so voluntarily, with EYP alumni, teachers, and other interested shareholders working without recompense to give a new generation the chance to discover what the European Youth Parliament is all about.
