Sand Sculpting ....Inchydoney

On Friday , May 7th,TY students once again enjoyed another great day on Inchydoney beach. In groups ,their creative skills were challenged as they took on the task of Sand Sculpting.Winners in the various categories included:

Historic:

Castle - Claire Cunningham and Jessica Asare

Best 3D:

Nike Jordan - Zara Flood, Vicky Wycherly, Lynn McCarthy, Katie Hearne

Cartoons:

(a)Character - Minion and Mickey Mouse

(b)Creative Creature - Bobby Beach ..Ciara O’Neill and Shauna Casey

Best Realistic:

Cheetah…….

A great day was had by all as the sun shone overhead , and the Atlantic breeze brought life to the unfolding creations. Thanks to Ms O Connell, Ms Harrington and Ms O Brien who accompanied the students and encouraged the much fun ,and creativity that was evident on the Eastern Beach.
