Opening of the School Year Mass

The Opening of the School Year Mass is always a special day for SHSS and this year was no different. Today, the church was filled with beautiful singing, acts of kindness, moments of gratitude as well as our hopes and wishes for the year ahead. Thanks to Fr Tom for a beautiful ceremony, Ms Hayes and Mr Sugrue for organising the outstanding choir and the religion department; Ms Harte, Ms Holland and Ms O’Riordan for organising the mass itself. Well done also to Aimee Mulcahy, who designed the cover for the mass booklet. ‘It is in giving that we receive support, trust, a helping hand, love, true friendship and a beautiful world.’
