It would probably be rowing for Ireland last year. I went to Worlds and represented the Irish team in Italy.

Who is your role model?

Sanita Puspure.

How often do you train?

I train most days, but it depends on the week really.

When did you start rowing?

I started rowing when I was 12 but I did coastal rowing first, and then I moved to river rowing when I was in 6th class.

What are the benefits of rowing?

It’s a very time consuming sport but the benefits for me would be representing your country, being healthy and fit.

Probably the friends, the trips abroad and the great memories.

What’s your next big event coming up?

This Thursday I’m flying to Amsterdam for an International Regatta.
