The Jingle Mingle by Evie Weller

The Jingle Mingle, run by TY YSI groups, took place last Friday in the GPR.

The event was in aid of Women in Sport and other charities. The YSI groups, with the help of Ms O Regan, transformed the GPR into a Winter Wonderland with Christmas tress, wonderful stands and Christmas music.

The stands had different ways of raising money such as selling brownies, fudge and hot chocolate, some selling candy canes and some with competitions such as ‘Guess the Teacher’ and the amount of sweets in a jar.

It was hugely successful and raised over 600 euros for their chosen charities and was a very enjoyable event for everybody.
