First Year Football Blitz!

The first years took part in another football blitz in Skibbereen today. They played three games in all.

They won against Colaiste na Toibhirte, but they suffered a hard defeat against Skibbereen Community School. After a rocky start, they eventually settled a penalty that lifted the team’s spirits and put them ahead of St Mary’s, Macroom in the second half.

Thanks to the TY students who accompanied them and, of course, to Mr Kiely and Ms Fitzgerald.
