Schultüte: A German Tradition

Last week, Ms. Ross’ 2nd Year students of German gave out Schultüte to the incoming 1st Year students of German. On the first day of school in Germany, students are given Schultüte or school cones by their family, which are filled with stationary and lots of treats. They are handcrafted and decorated with care. As our second year students were studying the topic of school and German traditions, they decided to welcome the 1st Year students to the ‘German Family’ by giving them these wonderful gifts.
